As a result of this course, students are guided through a better understanding of the cannabis plant, and its components. Classifications of the cannabis plant are also included. This course will explore some of the cultivars that can be useful in medical situations while providing relief. A comprehensive examination of phytocannabinoids and terpenes will also be included in this course. An overview of four medical conditions, their symptoms, and the medicinal properties cannabis offers to relieve them. The conditions include pain and inflammation, anxiety and mental health, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. The objective of this course is to understand how terpenes and cultivars in cannabis promote health and well-being by ensuring that patients and customers have access to cannabis products tailored to their needs and preferences. This course emphasizes the modulation effects of cannabinoids which are influenced by the terpene content of the plant, and how several Land Race cultivars have provided the influential effects of today's modern cultivars.
